At Visionary Home Care, we know how hard it is to entrust someone else with the health, safety and happiness of your senior parent, Alzheimer's or dementia patient, or disabled family member of any age. Many of us have been in your situation before and we remember how we wondered, "Can I trust this person? Will my mother be treated appropriately? Will she care for her, not just take care of her?"
Our commitment to you and your family is to provide the highest quality of care. Our Patient Care Coordinators will take the time to understand the specific needs of your loved one and customize a care plan, not for you, but with you. Each client receives special attention with comprehensive administrative support and oversight whether at home or in a facility.
It is our responsibility to provide your family with an experienced, responsive caregiver. Each of our caregivers is subject to an extensive screening process that includes:
- Comprehensive background check through FBI and DOJ databases
- DMV check
- Tuberculosis (TB) tested
- Professional Reference Checks
- First Aid Certified
We will never "randomly" assign a caregiver to your family. We understand that a true companion must share similar interests with your loved one and must understand his or her emotional and physical needs, . We make our caregiver recommendations based on the customized care plan we develop with you, as well as the individual skills and strengths of our caregiver. Of course, the final decision is always yours; if for whatever reason you or your family is not satisfied with your caregiver, we will assign another until you are completely satisfied.
A Visionary Home Care caregiver is a person whose passion is to help others. He or she is someone who truly enjoys caring for elderly or disabled persons who need their help. However, simply caring is not enough. All of our caregivers are also thoroughly trained and prepared for each assignment. Each caregiver is our employee and we are responsible for all caregiver wages, insurance, and employer taxes. Any caregiver that would ever step into your family's home is:
- Bonded and insured
- Experienced, reliable & knowledgeable
- Skills tested
- Required to undergo ongoing training
Our philosophy is that you and your family are an important part of our CareTeam. Whether you live next door, across town, or across the country from your loved one, you can be as involved in his or her care as you wish.
